Volunteer Mentoring
We are always looking for passionate volunteers to help work with our young people across several programs. If you are interested in volunteering in any of our programs listed below please feel free to drop in, call or email.

Love driving and want to give back to your community?
L2P is the volunteering opportunity for you.
Our program matches learners with qualified volunteer drivers, providing a safe environment to learn the fundamentals and build up practice hours.
Come join our fantastic group of L2P Mentors who contribute over 2000 hours of their great driving knowledge to young people in our community every single year.
SECL delivers the TAC – L2P program in Kingston, Monash and the City of Greater Dandenong areas.
To become a volunteer Mentor you need to:
- be able to commit two hours per week to support your learner driver
- be at least 25 years of age
- be able to obtain or currently hold a Working with Children’s Check
- be a holder of a current full Victorian Drivers Licence
- be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of volunteering
We will provide you with VicRoads L2P Mentor training including an online module and hands on training at no cost.

SECL homework club runs weekly Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm until 6pm from SECL Noble Park site 60 Douglas Street, Noble Park. Vic 3174.
